SKF India Completes Industrial Demerger, Lists in November
SKF India is splitting into two separate companies: one for industrial businesses and one for automotive.
The industrial business is now its own entity, which will be listed in November, and shareholders will get shares in it.
The aim is to allow each company to focus on its own growth and goals, with the industrial side targeting manufacturing, railways, and renewable energy, while the automotive side will focus on EVs and other vehicle technologies.
This split is also expected to help shareholders by giving them access to two distinct areas of business.
SKF India completed the demerger of its industrial business.
The industrial entity is expected to list in November.
Shareholders will receive one share of SKF Industrial for each SKF India share held.
SKF India continues as the automotive entity.
Both entities have dedicated investment plans for their respective sectors.
