Jeevan Reddy Demands Immediate Repair of Lift Irrigation Motors

Former Minister T. Jeevan Reddy visited a lift irrigation scheme with farmers to see the damaged motors and transformers that have not been fixed for over a year.

Farmers are worried because they have water in the canals but can't use it to water their crops.

Jeevan Reddy called the electricity department and told them to fix the motors and transformers by July 31.

He said if the repairs aren't done, the crops will die, and the farmers will protest.

He even offered that farmers would pay for the repairs if the government doesn't have money.
