DOST Sees 20% Dip in Degree Seats Allotted

Fewer students were given seats in colleges in Telangana this year.

This is because the government wants to give seats only to students from the local area.

Last year, more people got a place than this year.

The education authorities will let students from other areas apply for spots that are still open later on.
