Lion Spotted at Jain Temple in Gujarat
A lion was seen walking calmly near a Jain temple in Palitana, Gujarat.
This is the second time in two months that a lion has been spotted in this area.
The temple is on a hill with many steps, and lots of people visit it to pray.
The lion didn't seem scared of the people, and the people chanted 'Jai Adinath' when they saw it.
Forest officials have asked people to be quiet and not try to take pictures if they see a lion.
This is not the only time a lion has been seen near people in Gujarat.
Another time, a lion even climbed onto a kitchen wall and looked into a house.
An Asiatic lion was spotted at the Jain temple complex on Shatrunjaya Hill in Palitana, Gujarat.
This is the second lion sighting in the area within two months.
The lion calmly walked past the 3,500 stone steps while pilgrims chanted 'Jai Adinath'.
Forest officials have temporarily halted pilgrim movement and are patrolling the area as a precaution.
In a separate incident, a lion entered a village house in Gujarat's Amreli district, climbing onto a kitchen wall.
