FICCI Says GCC Growth Is Driving Hyderabad’s Realty Wave
FICCI held a conference about Hyderabad’s future as a major business city.
ANAROCK helped organize the event and contributed knowledge about real estate.
A report at the conference described Hyderabad’s growth as a global center for company operations.
These company offices are called Global Capability Centers, or GCCs.
Hyderabad has more than 500 GCCs employing over 300,000 people.
GCCs use a large share of the city’s office space.
The city absorbed 5.2 million square feet of commercial space in the first half of 2026.
More people buying homes helped residential sales rise 12% to about 23,700 units.
Industry leaders said GCC growth is also supporting retail and infrastructure development.
