Karnataka High Court Orders SIT Probe Into KPSC Recruitment

The Karnataka High Court is looking into claims that something may have gone wrong during the hiring of veterinary doctors.

Justice M Nagaprasanna heard several petitions about the issue.

He ordered a Special Investigation Team, or SIT, to investigate the claims.

Alok Kumar will lead the team.

Alok Kumar is the Director General of Police for Prisons.

Evidence collected by the Criminal Investigation Department and local police will be given to the SIT.

The team will examine the alleged recruitment irregularities.

The court’s order does not itself establish that wrongdoing occurred.
