Pakistan Says US, Iran Near 'Some Sort' of Peace Deal

Two big countries, the United States and Iran, have not always gotten along.

Now they may be getting closer to making a peace deal.

A leader from Pakistan named Khawaja Asif said the two countries are close to agreeing on something.

He said the signs over the last few days are good.

Another country, Qatar, said talks about the Strait of Hormuz are going well.

The Strait of Hormuz is a very important waterway where many ships travel.

These talks come even though some ships have been attacked in the area recently.

Iran's foreign minister also met a Pakistani minister in Tehran.

This meeting may help things move forward.

Many people hope this will lead to peace in the region.
