Mumbai Metro Features Two All-Women Staff Stations
Mumbai's Metro system has two stations, Akurli and Eksar, where every job is done by women, from the managers to the security guards.
This started in March 2023.
The women work in three different shifts to keep the stations running all day.
This effort is to make women feel safer and more included.
Other places like Matunga Station in Mumbai and Ajni Station in Nagpur also have similar all-women staff.
