CJP Leaders Detained Aboard Flight Before Delhi Protest
Three leaders of the Cockroach Janta Party flew from Mumbai to Delhi for a planned protest.
After their plane landed, police entered it and detained them before they could get off.
Videos shared online show some of the encounter, and Dipke said he was ready to be arrested.
The party wanted Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar to resign over claims about voter-list changes.
These claims are allegations in the reports, not proven findings.
Police had refused permission for the protest, citing security and procedural reasons.
Other people were also detained, but reports gave very different totals.
Metro stations were closed and security was tightened across Delhi.
CJP said its protest campaign would continue despite the detentions.
