ISRO's Heavy Satellites & Powerful Rockets Explained

ISRO's Heavy Satellites & Powerful Rockets Explained

Imagine you're building a special toy for your whole country.

Indian space toys (satellites) need to be very big and strong because they have to do many jobs at once.

They need to send signals all over India, and even to ships at sea, and they need to do this for a long time, like 10 to 15 years!

To do all this, they need lots of antennas, powerful parts, and big solar panels to get energy, which makes them heavy.

ISRO has a super strong rocket called LVM3 that is like a big truck, able to carry these heavy toys into space.

They also have other rockets like the PSLV for smaller toys and the GSLV Mk II for medium ones.

The LVM3 is ISRO's most powerful rocket and has never failed, showing they can handle these big jobs.
