Superfan Carries KKR Flag to Everest Base Camp, Fulfills Lifelong Dream
Imagine a big fan of a cricket team called KKR who really loves them!
This fan, Ashok, decided to go on a very big adventure to a place called Everest Base Camp, which is at the bottom of the world's tallest mountain.
He packed a special KKR flag and also the Indian flag.
He worked very hard to climb all the way there.
When he finally arrived, he proudly waved the flags.
He also sang a birthday song for the KKR owner, Shah Rukh Khan, because he admires him so much.
Ashok's journey shows how much he loves KKR, and he hopes to go even higher on the mountain one day and maybe even travel to see KKR play in other countries.
Ashok Chakraborty, a devoted KKR fan from Nabadwip, reached Everest Base Camp on October 19.
He carried the Kolkata Knight Riders flag and the Indian Tricolour to the base of the world's highest mountain.
Chakraborty has a long history of dedication, having attended every KKR home game since the team's inception and every IPL and India home match at Eden Gardens since 1999.
His trek involved a journey from Nabadwip, including travel by train and road, and then a challenging trek through various points in the Himalayas.
He also brought a Trinbago Knight Riders jersey and played a birthday tune on a mouth organ for KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan.
