TUDA Details Infrastructure Projects Across Four Constituencies
Tirupati Urban Development Authority, or TUDA, is planning and building roads and other infrastructure in four constituencies.
Its chairman, Dr C Divakar Reddy, said eight planned roads will cover 19 kilometres.
Work in Tiruchanur includes roads and facilities for people visiting the area.
A new road is also being built to connect two highways.
TUDA has tendered money for a water pipeline between two tanks.
A TUDA building with homes and shops is expected to open in two to three months.
Chandragiri MLA Pulivarthy Nani also discussed local road and drainage projects.
He said the first phase of the Ithepalli–Rangampeta road has been allocated Rs 49 crore.
TUDA Chairman Dr C Divakar Reddy said projects are underway across Chandragiri, Tirupati, Srikalahasti and Nagari constituencies.
Eight master-plan roads spanning 19 km are being developed at an estimated cost of Rs 200 crore.
At Tiruchanur, Rs 90 crore in TTD funds is being used for 2.5 km of roads, parking, annadanam spaces and a pilgrim vehicle corridor.
A 6.8-km greenfield road will connect the Madanapalle–Tirupati and Tirupati–Bengaluru highways; Rs 30 crore has been tendered for a pipeline from Peruru tank to Avilala tank via Thummalagunta.
Chandragiri MLA Pulivarthy Nani said the Ithepalli–Rangampeta road has received a Phase One allocation of Rs 49 crore and highlighted drainage, concrete and link-road work.
