Meghalaya Cop Schools Congress MP's Son for Misusing Red Light
Imagine a police officer was doing his job checking cars on the road.
He saw a car with a flashing light that wasn't supposed to be there.
When he checked, he found it was the son of an important politician, a Member of Parliament.
The police officer calmly explained to the son that he couldn't use that light because his dad, the MP, wasn't even in the car.
The officer said it's not fair for people to think they're more important just because of who their family is.
He took the light off the car and gave a ticket.
It shows that even the children of powerful people should follow the rules.
Meghalaya Police apprehended Tanzil Hussain, son of Congress MP Rakibul Hussain, for unauthorized use of a flasher light on his car.
The incident occurred during a routine vehicle checking drive in Umling, Ri-Bhoi district.
SSP VS Rathore confronted Tanzil Hussain, questioning the misuse of the flasher light and stating that such privileges are not allowed.
A video of the exchange went viral, showing the SSP admonishing Tanzil and asking if his entire family was an MP.
The flasher light was removed from the vehicle on the spot, and Tanzil Hussain was issued a fine.
