Anit and Ajoy Spar Over Didi Loyalty
Two big leaders in Darjeeling, Anit Thapa and Ajoy Edwards, are arguing about who is more loyal to Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal.
Anit Thapa leads the BGPM, which is in power in the Darjeeling hills, while Ajoy Edwards leads the IGJF, the main opposition.
Edwards asked if Thapa can really work for the Gorkha people while being friends with Mamata's party, the Trinamool Congress.
Thapa responded by showing pictures of Edwards with different political leaders, saying Edwards has changed sides more times.
They are both trying to show who is more sincere about the Gorkha people's interests.
