Roshini Urges Students to Break Silence on Mental Health

Roshini Urges Students to Break Silence on Mental Health

Roshini held a programme to help students talk more openly about mental health.

The event took place at Little Flower High School in Hyderabad.

Nearly 300 students from more than 20 schools took part.

They joined drawing and skit competitions about hope and resilience.

Clinical psychologist Bona Colaco taught an approach called ACT.

ACT means asking kindly, caring by listening, and taking care of yourself too.

Students were told to notice warning signs such as changed behaviour or negative self-talk.

Speakers encouraged young people to talk to trusted people when they are struggling.

They also said getting professional help is a strong and helpful choice.
