Bangladesh Cricket Faces World Cup Uncertainty
The Bangladesh cricket team is getting ready for the T20 World Cup, but there's a lot of uncertainty.
The team's captain, Najmul Hossain Shanto, said that even though the players are acting like everything is fine, the controversies and safety concerns are really affecting them.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board asked to move their matches out of India because of safety issues, but the International Cricket Council said they must play in India or forfeit.
The captain also mentioned that the team has never done well in World Cups and that these kinds of issues make it even harder for them to focus and perform well.
The team is trying to stay strong and do their best, but it's not easy.
The BCB president, Aminul Islam Bulbul, said they are still waiting for a response from the ICC and that moving matches to another Indian city would not solve their concerns.
He also expressed confidence in the team's ability to perform well in sub-continental conditions.
