UK Police: Lone 32-Year-Old Suspect in London-Bound Train Stabbing
On a Saturday evening, a man attacked people with a knife on a train going to London.
Police arrested two men, but they realized one wasn't involved and let him go.
The other man, a 32-year-old British man, is now the only person they think did it.
Police are sure he acted alone and that it wasn't an act of terrorism.
Sadly, 11 people were hurt and had to go to the hospital.
One brave train worker who tried to help is still in very serious condition.
The train driver also acted quickly to stop the train at a station so help could arrive faster.
Police are still trying to understand why this happened and are asking people not to spread rumors.
British police have identified a 32-year-old Black British man from Peterborough as the sole suspect in a mass stabbing on a London-bound train.
A second man, initially arrested, has been released without charges as he was not involved in the attack.
The incident resulted in 11 hospitalizations; a train crew member who intervened is in life-threatening condition, with CCTV footage highlighting his heroic actions.
Police have recovered a knife from the scene and are investigating the suspect's background and the events leading up to the attack.
The incident is not being treated as terrorism, and authorities urge the public to avoid speculation and the spread of misinformation.
