Swami Avimukteshwaranand Protests Magh Mela Administration
Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati is upset because the Magh Mela administration sent him a notice for using the title 'Shankaracharya'.
He is also confused because there are two people claiming to be the Shankaracharya of Puri at the mela.
He says the administration is being unfair and is protesting by not eating or drinking.
He also said that the administration is not following the Supreme Court's orders properly.
The Samajwadi Party president, Akhilesh Yadav, supports Saraswati and says the action against him is not right.
Akhilesh Yadav also advised the BJP government to seek forgiveness and maintain peace, harmony, and mutual respect in society.
Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati questioned the Magh Mela administration over the presence of two Puri Shankaracharyas at the mela.
He is protesting a notice issued to him for using the title 'Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth' despite a Supreme Court order.
Saraswati alleges discrimination, claiming the administration permitted another Shankaracharya's camp to harass the 'real' Shankaracharya of Puri.
He argues that the mela administration has no authority to decide who is a Shankaracharya as the matter is pending in the Supreme Court.
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav condemned the action against Saraswati, accusing the BJP and its allies of being divisive and arrogant, and advised the BJP government to seek forgiveness and maintain peace.
