Meghan Markle’s Reported Gentlemen Role Faces UK Backlash Claims
Meghan Markle was reportedly talking about acting in a Netflix show called The Gentlemen.
The show is connected to filmmaker Guy Ritchie.
One report said she was in advanced discussions for a role written for her.
Tina Brown later said the casting was withdrawn because many people in Britain objected.
However, Meghan was never officially announced as part of the show.
Netflix and her representatives have not confirmed that she lost the role.
This means the story is still a rumor rather than a proven fact.
If true, it could make her planned acting comeback in the UK harder.
The show’s third season has also not officially been approved yet.
