Sports minister seeks stadium and better facilities at medical college

A government minister named Indranil Khan visited a big medical college in Siliguri.

He studied at this college when he was younger.

He wants students there to have better places to play sports.

He said the college should not only focus on football.

He wants a gym, indoor games, and places for volleyball and hockey.

He also wants a stadium to be built at the campus.

The playground at the college is in bad shape right now.

He promised to get it fixed and add a gallery for people to watch.

He thinks sports are important for students' mental development.

He will ask the health minister for money to make these improvements.
