Supreme Court to Hear Delhi SIR Notice Disclosure Plea

Supreme Court to Hear Delhi SIR Notice Disclosure Plea

The Supreme Court will hear a case about changes to Delhi’s voter list.

The hearing is scheduled for September 22.

The people who filed the case want officials to publish the names of everyone who received a notice.

They also want officials to explain why each person received a notice.

They are asking for the rules and computer instructions used to identify certain voter records.

The petition says more than 47 lakh names were left out of the draft voter list.

It says about 33 lakh voters received notices.

The notices referred to either no mapping or logical discrepancies.
