Bengaluru Metro Pink Line Delayed Again
The Bengaluru Metro Pink Line's elevated section from Kalena Agrahara to Tavarekere is delayed again.
The 7.5 km stretch, which includes six stations, was supposed to open by August 15, 2026, but it's now expected to open in late August or early September.
The delay is because the signalling system needs final validation and safety inspections.
Once it opens, it will add to the metro network, making it 103.6 km long.
The underground part of the Pink Line is set to open in March 2027.
