India's Cloud Data Centre Capacity Expands

India's Cloud Data Centre Capacity Expands

India's cloud data centres now have a capacity of 1,280 MW, which is expected to grow 4-5 times by 2030.

This growth is happening because more and more people and companies are using digital services and artificial intelligence.

Big companies like Google and Amazon are investing a lot of money in India's data centres.

The government is also building a special cloud system called MeghRaj to help with digital services for the public.

This is all part of India's plan to become more digital and use more AI.

However, there is a debate about whether the current investments in AI infrastructure are too much or just the right amount for future needs.
