Samara Capital to Exit Beauty Firm ESME Consumer for $175-225 Million

Samara Capital to Exit Beauty Firm ESME Consumer for $175-225 Million

A company called Samara Capital, which is like a big investor, wants to sell a beauty company it owns called ESME Consumer.

They have hired a special helper, an investment bank named Jefferies, to find a buyer.

They hope to sell it for a lot of money, maybe between $175 and $225 million.

Samara Capital had bought two smaller beauty companies and combined them to make ESME Consumer bigger.

ESME Consumer sells things like makeup and skincare products.

The beauty market in India is growing a lot, so it might be a good time to sell.

If they can't find a buyer for a good price, they might even consider selling shares to the public in a process called an IPO.

ESME Consumer's sales and profits have gone down recently, but one report expects them to get better next year.

Samara Capital has successfully sold other companies they invested in before.
