Shops and businesses must put Odia on their signs, taking up at least 60% of the space.
If they don't, they'll get a warning.
Then, they have about two months to fix it.
After that, they'll be fined a little bit each day until they change their signs.
If shops follow the rule, they can get a discount on their business license fee.
The government hopes this will make signs easier for everyone to understand.
