India Launches Multiple Scholarships for Students 2026-27
India has announced five new scholarships and an internship program for students in 2026-27.
Nikon will give up to 1 lakh rupees to students studying photography.
Panasonic will give 70,250 rupees a year to first‑year engineering students at any IIT.
U‑GO will give up to 60,000 rupees a year to young women in professional courses like nursing or engineering.
The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing will offer internships to science and technology students.
The GEV Scholarship Fund will give 50,000 to 2 lakh rupees a year to law students.
All applications are online and must be submitted by the dates listed.
These programs help students who need money to study.
Nikon India offers up to INR 1,00,000 for 3‑month+ photography courses to Indian citizens with family income ≤ INR 6,00,000.
Panasonic Life Solutions India gives INR 70,250 per year to first‑year B.E./B.Tech students at any IIT with family income ≤ INR 8,00,000 and 75%+ Class 12 marks.
U‑GO provides up to INR 60,000 per year to young women in professional undergraduate courses (e.g., nursing, engineering) with 70%+ marks and family income < INR 5,00,000.
IIRS offers an external student internship program for science/technology students with ≥60% marks, ending 30‑10‑2026.
GEV Scholarship Fund supports law students with INR 50,000‑2,00,000 per year, requiring 60%+ marks and family income ≤ INR 10,00,000.
