NCW Investigates Intern Conflict at Malda Medical College

A member of the National Commission for Women, Archana Majumdar, visited a medical college to look into a fight between young doctors.

She spoke with the college staff and the doctors involved.

She was very unhappy with how things were handled, especially after a similar incident earlier in the year.

Majumdar found out that one of the doctors was locked in a room overnight and harassed by others.

She promised to tell the authorities what happened and ask them to take action to make sure women are safe at work.
