UP Police Arrest 'Eve-Teasers' After Shootout; Lured Girls

Two men, Zulfikar and Aslam, were arrested in Kushinagar after a police encounter.

They are accused of bothering women and girls.

The police say the men would pretend to be someone else, even wearing fake religious items to trick them.

The police were doing a check when the men opened fire.

The police shot back, injuring the men.

They are now in the hospital under police watch.

The arrests are part of a bigger effort to stop harassment, following new orders from the state's leader to protect women.
