Calcutta High Court Orders Fresh CAPF Medical Test

Calcutta High Court Orders Fresh CAPF Medical Test

A person wanted to become a CAPF constable.

Doctors examining the person said they were not fit because of a condition called a “winged scapula.”

The person asked the Calcutta High Court to review that decision.

The court said the medical board should not rely only on what it sees during a basic examination.

It must use proper tests and, if necessary, ask specialists for their opinions.

The court cancelled the earlier decision.

It ordered a new medical examination that follows the required rules.

The new examination will help determine whether the candidate is medically fit.
