Pakistan Expands Defence Exports, Seeks Bangladesh Pact
Pakistan has made a lot of money by selling weapons and military equipment to other countries in 2025.
They sold things like fighter jets, training planes, drones, and guns to places like Libya, Sudan, and Nigeria.
This is the most they have ever sold in a year.
Pakistan is good at making these things and sells them to countries that need them, even if those countries are in the middle of conflicts.
They also showed off their products at a big defence fair and made deals that could bring in even more money in the future.
Some people are worried because one of the countries they sold to, Libya, is not supposed to be buying weapons because of a rule by the United Nations.
But Pakistan hasn't said much about that.
Now, Pakistan is also talking to Bangladesh about selling them JF-17 fighter jets.
This is because Pakistan and Bangladesh are becoming friends again after some problems.
Pakistan thinks selling more weapons can help their economy so much that they might not need help from the International Monetary Fund soon.
Pakistan secured defence export deals worth nearly $10 billion in 2025, the highest ever.
Key exports include JF-17 fighter jets, Super Mushshak trainer aircraft, drones, and small arms.
Major clients include Libya, Sudan, Azerbaijan, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, and potential deals with Bangladesh.
Pakistan signed 82 MoUs at the 2024 IDEAS exhibition, potentially earning $30 billion in the future.
