Choksi Accuses India of Orchestrating 2021 Abduction
Mehul Choksi, a businessman accused of a major bank fraud in India, claims the Indian government kidnapped him from Antigua and Barbuda in 2021.
He says they wanted to bring him back to India for the fraud case.
He was later found in Dominica, arrested in Belgium, and is now in custody.
Choksi’s lawyers allege the Indian government was behind the abduction.
India denies this and is objecting to the UK court hearing the case.
Choksi is a key suspect in a fraud related to Punjab National Bank.
