Ashmit Patel says he will always protect sister Ameesha Patel
Two famous movie actors are brother and sister, and their names are Ashmit and Ameesha Patel.
Ashmit recently talked about their relationship in an interview.
He said every relationship has good times and hard times.
He said they are family and their bond is still strong.
He promised to protect Ameesha for as long as he lives.
He also said he congratulated his sister when her movie Gadar 2 did really well.
Still, Ashmit admitted they do not talk very often and are not super close.
There have been stories about a family fight from many years ago.
Ameesha once sent a legal notice to their father about money.
Even so, Ashmit says he loves his sister and will always be there for her.
Ashmit Patel says his relationship with sister Ameesha Patel has had 'ups and downs' but their sibling bond remains unchanged.
In a conversation with Hindi Rush, Ashmit said he will always protect Ameesha 'till my last breath,' no matter what the world says.
Ashmit confirmed in a 2024 interview that he congratulated Ameesha on the success of Gadar 2, while preferring to keep family matters private.
He later admitted in an interview with Siddharth Kannan that they communicate only occasionally and do not share a very close relationship, but he loves her.
Reports of estrangement go back to a family dispute in the 2000s, including Ameesha's 2004 legal notice to their father Amit Patel over her finances.
