Kansai Nerolac Paints Q1 Profit Up 5%, Revenue 10%
Kansai Nerolac Paints is a paint company in India.
In the first quarter of its 2027 financial year, it earned 231.6 crore rupees, a little more than last year.
Its sales grew to 2,373.6 crore rupees, also higher than before.
The company raised its prices because raw materials were more expensive because of problems in West Asia.
The chief executive, Pravin Chaudhari, said the rupee fell sharply and supply was uncertain, but the company still expects good demand from homes, factories, and the upcoming Diwali festival.
The stock price went up about 4% on the day the report was released.
Kansai Nerolac Paints posted Q1 FY2027 net profit of Rs 231.6 crore, up 5% YoY.
Revenue rose 10% YoY to Rs 2,373.6 crore, with a 21% sequential increase.
The company raised prices to counter raw‑material inflation driven by West Asia geopolitical turmoil.
Managing Director Pravin Chaudhari said the rupee’s sharp depreciation and supply‑chain uncertainty remain concerns.
The firm expects continued demand from decorative, industrial, and festive (Diwali) markets despite monsoon variability.
