YSRC Leaders Allege Financial Irregularities in Nellore Corporation Spending

YSRC leaders said the Nellore Municipal Corporation may have spent money improperly.

They questioned why some tax collection targets became much higher.

They also compared the costs of garbage vehicles used by the corporation.

The leaders questioned spending on sweeping machines, garbage compactors and school buses.

They raised concerns about money spent on vending stalls, painting, maintenance and tree planting.

They alleged that some civic contracts were split into small parts to avoid open tenders.

They said favoured people may have received some contracts.

The leaders said they had examined budget and tender records.

They want Minister P. Narayana to explain the spending.
