Basel Fires Coach Magnin Before Europa League Clash

Basel, a football team in Switzerland, fired their coach, Ludovic Magnin.

This happened just three days before an important Europa League game.

Magnin had been with the team for seven months.

Basel recently won a big game against their rivals Zurich, but they also lost a game against Salzburg.

The team is currently in fourth place in the league, which is 10 points behind the leader, Thun.

Basel said they fired Magnin because the team wasn't improving.

There is no new coach yet.
