EC Summons Punjab DGP Over Complaints Against Cop During Tarn Taran Bypoll
The Election Commission of India has called the Director General of Police (DGP) of Punjab, Gaurav Yadav, to answer complaints made against the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Tarn Taran, Ravjot Kaur Grewal.
The complaints were filed by the opposition Akali Dal during the recent assembly bypoll in Tarn Taran.
The EC has already suspended the SSP, and the DGP is expected to appear before the EC on November 25.
