Trials of India's first Vande Bharat Freight rake begin in Kota

India is testing its first superfast freight train, called Vande Bharat Freight.

This train, made by the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai, has 16 coaches and is based on the Vande Bharat technology.

The trials are happening in Kota and nearby areas for about a month.

The train will be tested at speeds of 120 km/h and 135 km/h.

This new technology is expected to make freight transport faster and better, especially for e-commerce and logistics.

The trials are being conducted by the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO) on one of Indian Railways' best high-speed test corridors.
