LIC Launches Limited-Time Revival Campaign
LIC is giving people a chance to restart their life insurance policies that stopped because they missed payments.
This special offer runs from January 1 to March 2.
If your policy stopped, you can get a discount on the late fees you owe.
For some small insurance plans, LIC will even waive all late fees.
This is a good chance to get your insurance back without paying too much extra.
Just make sure your policy is eligible and that you can pay the premiums regularly in the future.
LIC's special revival campaign runs from January 1 to March 2 for lapsed life insurance policies.
Up to 30% discount on late fees for eligible non-linked individual policies, capped at Rs 5,000.
Micro insurance policies have all late fees waived, benefiting low-income policyholders.
Eligible policies are those that lapsed during the premium-paying term and have not completed their term.
Reviving a lapsed policy restores full life cover and is often cheaper than buying a new policy.
