Youth arrested for forging passport for Bangladeshi woman
A man named Choton Sen was caught by the police for doing something very wrong.
He helped a woman from Bangladesh, named Moyna Sen, get an Indian passport by making fake documents.
This happened in a place called Asansol-Durgapur in India.
The police found out because they were checking all the passports and voter lists.
Choton Sen is married and has two children, but he was helping Moyna Sen, who is a sex worker, to get a passport.
The police think he might have done this for other people too.
This whole thing is a big deal because it happened while the government was checking all the voter lists to make sure everyone is who they say they are.
Choton Sen was arrested for arranging an Indian passport for a Bangladeshi woman, Moyna Sen, using forged documents.
The incident was discovered during the police verification of passport applications sent by the Regional Passport Office in Kolkata.
Choton Sen allegedly used his uncle's documents and fabricated records to show Moyna Sen as his uncle's daughter.
The matter has gained political significance during the ongoing Special Intensive Review (SIR) of electoral rolls in West Bengal.
A large number of voters in the Lachipur red-light area reportedly did not collect enumeration forms, sparking a political debate.
