BMW Offers Price Protection on UK-Made MINI in Anticipation of FTA
BMW India is offering a price protection plan for customers buying the MINI 3-Door Cooper S. This is because the company expects import taxes to go down soon due to a new trade agreement between India and the UK.
If the price drops within six months, BMW will refund the difference.
This offer aims to encourage buyers who were unsure whether to purchase the car now, as it is imported from the UK.
The plan does not cover the all-electric MINI Countryman, made in Germany.
BMW India offers price protection for the MINI 3-Door Cooper S due to potential duty cuts.
The offer covers cars bought now for up to 180 days.
Customers will receive a refund if prices decrease due to the India-UK FTA.
The India-UK FTA anticipates tariffs on automotive imports going from over 100% to 10% under quotas.
The all-electric MINI Countryman is not included in the offer.
