Sai Sudharsan ruled out of Sri Lanka Test series
India is going to play an important cricket series against Sri Lanka, but a few of their best players cannot play because they are hurt.
One of them is Sai Sudharsan, a very good batsman who hurt his big toe while playing practice matches last month.
He scored two big hundreds in those practice matches, which made everyone excited to watch him.
Doctors say his toe is getting better but is not ready yet for big matches.
So the team decided to let him rest so he can heal completely without getting hurt again.
Another player, Devdutt Padikkal, scored a century in the warm-up game and may take Sai's spot.
The team captain, Shubman Gill, also hurt his finger, so another player named KL Rahul is leading the team for now.
India's fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is also not playing because of a knee injury.
Two Test matches against Sri Lanka will start on August 15, and India hopes their players get better soon.
