Telangana Building Integrated Sub-Registrar Offices
The government of Telangana is building new integrated Sub-Registrar offices to help people register their properties more easily and reduce corruption.
Currently, many offices are in rented buildings, but the government plans to build new ones in three phases.
The first phase includes 39 offices in Hyderabad and nearby districts, which handle most of the state's registration work.
Private builders will construct these new offices on land provided by the government and maintain them for the first five years.
The government also introduced a slot booking system that speeds up the registration process, taking only about 20 minutes per document.
This initiative aims to make the process more convenient and transparent for everyone.
In Andhra Pradesh, the NDA coalition government is distributing new pattadar passbooks to 22.33 lakh farmers to rectify discrepancies from the previous resurvey.
The new passbooks have QR codes and the official State Seal to ensure authenticity.
The government is also addressing issues related to land measurement and LPM numbers to make the revenue system more people-friendly.
Integrated Sub-Registrar offices are being constructed to curb corruption and improve efficiency in property registration.
Of the 144 Sub-Registrar offices, 94 are in rented buildings and 50 in government buildings.
Phase 1 includes 39 offices in Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal, and Sangareddy districts, grouped into 11 clusters.
Private builders will construct and maintain the new offices for the first five years at no cost to the government.
The slot booking system has reduced document processing time to 18 to 21 minutes.
