PSG Face Aston Villa in UEFA Super Cup 2026

The UEFA Super Cup is a special football match that starts the new European club season.

This year, it is between Paris Saint-Germain from France and Aston Villa from England.

PSG won the Champions League, the biggest club prize in Europe, by beating Arsenal on penalties after the game ended 1-1.

Aston Villa won the Europa League, another major European trophy, by beating SC Freiburg 3-0 in the final.

The match is taking place at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg, Austria.

It starts at 9:00 in the evening in Salzburg, which is 12:30 at night on Thursday for fans in India.

Indian fans can watch it on Sony Sports Network or stream it on Sony LIV.

Aston Villa will be missing two players who scored in their Europa League final, Youri Tielemans and Morgan Rogers, because they were sold to other clubs.

Villa signed Alejandro Garnacho on loan, while PSG brought in João Gomes and Maghnes Akliouche.

PSG won this same trophy last year by beating Tottenham Hotspur on penalties.
