Delhi Doorstep Delivery Scheme Likely To Be Discontinued
Delhi's doorstep delivery service, which allowed people to get government services at home, is likely ending.
The current government plans to replace it with new centers where people can go to get help with various services from different government departments.
These centers will charge a small fee and help people who don't have computers or are not able to use them.
The previous scheme, which was a program by the previous Delhi government, stopped being used over a year ago and it has now expired.
Delhi's doorstep delivery scheme, inactive for over a year, is likely to be discontinued.
The BJP government plans to implement Common Service Centers (CSCs) across Delhi.
CSCs will offer multi-department services in a time-bound manner for a fee of Rs 50.
AAP's doorstep delivery scheme expired in March 2024 after an extension.
The CSCs will provide assistance to those without computers or are uneducated.
