EU Fines Google $1 Billion for Antitrust Violations

EU Fines Google $1 Billion for Antitrust Violations

The European Union fined Google a huge amount of money because they say Google was being unfair.

Google was making it hard for other companies to compete by pushing people to use Google's own services and apps.

The EU wants to make sure there is fair competition and that people have choices.

Google says the EU is making their products worse and removing safety protections.

This is not the first time Google has been fined for this kind of thing.

The EU and the United States have been talking about these rules, but they haven't started the talks yet.
