Indian Railways to Launch Online Ticket Portal for MPs
The Indian Railways is creating a special website for Members of Parliament (MPs) to book train tickets.
This means MPs in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha can easily reserve their train travel online.
The Railway Minister announced this in a meeting.
The new system will allow current and former MPs to book and cancel tickets whenever they need.
MPs and their spouses are allowed to travel in special classes on trains.
Also, MPs can bring one person with them using a free pass.
