Govt ready for debate on student protests; Shah to reply

Some students in India were unhappy about a big exam called NEET and went out to protest.

The police acted to stop the protests, and many leaders wanted to talk about it.

The leaders who are not in power are called the Opposition, and they asked the Home Minister to explain what happened.

The government said it is ready to have that important talk in the Lok Sabha, the main meeting place for lawmakers.

It also said the Home Minister, Amit Shah, will answer everyone's questions.

But the government said the Opposition must promise to listen quietly and not shout or run away.

The Opposition also wants to talk about money that may be missing from a famous temple in Ayodhya.

The government said a special team is already looking into that.

A few days ago, the leaders passed a special law about stopping cheating in exams.

The Parliament meeting, called the monsoon session, has been very noisy with lots of interruptions.
