Rajinikanth Explains Why He Chose Jailer 2 Over Earlier Sequels
Rajinikanth usually does not want to make another movie that continues an older movie.
He said no to ideas for Baasha 2 and Petta 2.
Later, he watched Jailer again after it came out online.
He noticed that the ending hinted that the story was not finished.
A character named Varma mentioned a much bigger criminal network.
The film also left questions about three valuable containers.
Rajinikanth felt those clues made a good reason for another story.
So he agreed to return for Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
