Marvel's MCU plans revealed through 2042

Marvel Studios has big plans for the future of the MCU.

Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, recently shared that they have planned movies all the way up to 2042.

He mentioned that the upcoming films, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, will conclude some storylines that started before the MCU, like the original X-Men characters.

But Secret Wars will also mark a new beginning for the franchise.

Feige said that Secret Wars will simplify the universe, making it easier for audiences to follow.

He also hinted that the X-Men will play a significant role in the future of the MCU.

Marvel has planned the Mutant Saga in a grand way, building on the existing X-Men movies.

Feige emphasized that while they are constantly evolving, having a plan helps them act more purposefully.
