Google Tests Search Live in AI Mode for Some Users
Google is trying out a new feature called Search Live in its AI Mode.
This feature lets users talk to Google Search using their voice, like having a real-time conversation.
It can also use the phone's camera to answer questions about what it sees.
Users can find a special icon in the Google app to use this feature, which is similar to another feature called Gemini Live.
However, this feature is currently only available to users in the US.
Google is testing Search Live in AI Mode for some users on Android and iOS.
The feature allows real-time voice conversations and access to the camera feed.
Users can access Search Live via a new waveform icon or through AI Mode.
Search Live supports four voice options and provides website sources for answers.
AI Mode and Search Live's regional availability is currently limited to the US.
